Get to Know Us

The Performance Project aims to create a supportive coaching community for athletes. We work alongside you to build an optimal training environment that fits around your schedule and lifestyle, helping you achieve your athletic goals.

First, we gather information about you and your current lifestyle to strike a balance between life and training. This ensures that you can complete the training plan consistently.

Next, we want to know about your goals! We will help you identify them and create a path to achieve them. We assess your current fitness and skill levels through basic tests. Based on the results, we develop a personalised training and nutrition program to maximise your chances of success.

 

Our training programs focus on building strong endurance athletes. While cardiovascular fitness is important, we believe it is crucial for athletes to be physically and mentally strong to handle the demands of endurance training. Therefore, our training programs include sessions for endurance, strength, and mobility/recovery.

I have been training under Matt since July 2023. Not only has he guided me with my running, he has also been a massive support throughout my programming. I never ever thought I would have competed in my first half marathon, 8 months post baby, but Matt programming and encouragement got me there and I completed it with a 16min PB. Matt has been a major influence on my training and I am now training up to compete in my first full marathon under his coaching program. I highly recommended Matt and the Performance project if you are wanting to train up for half or full marathon, triathlon or even just want to improving your running or endurance.
